MARCO DA SILVA is a notable artist with world-class established success as a deejay, dancer, choreographer, and model. After making himself an international brand as a commercial dancer and choreographer (for Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, et al) and a judge for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ in both Germany and Israel, Marco decided to turn his focus towards house music.
He holds music close to his heart making it part of everything he does. Music is at the core of his interests and passions. Constantly, Marco searches music looking for that cutting-edge source of inspiration for his productions, and he loves to surprise his audiences by introducing new and compelling sounds wherever he goes.
Marco quickly gained attention and interest from key players in the house music industry, including renowned deejay and producer, Peter Rauhofer, early on his deejay career. In 2009, under Peter Rauhofer’s mentorship, Marco turned his passion for music into a new career.
Barcelona’s leading Circuit festival quickly took notice of Marco and extended him an invitation to play at their flagship, summer event in 2009. After a powerful, and talked about, debut at Matineé’s Circuit Festival, Marco was immediately extended a residency for the event.
Marco made his North American Debut, opening for Peter Rauhofer, during the White Party Festival at the world-famous Miami Beach club, Cameo. The audiences praised Marco’s debut, earning him an immediate residency and an invitation to release his first compilation titled ‘M’ under Peter Rauhofer’s Star69 records, and followed releases on Deepahrecordings and Tommiboi, all available on Beatport.
