DEJA VU AFTERHOURS – KENNY KRUZE LIVE SET

IF you were in Atlanta at BJ Roosters in the wee hours of this morning, then you were amongst the lucky to feel the pulse of energy in that space last night when DJ KENNY KRUZE made his Atlanta debut with Deja Vu Afterhours.

If you weren’t lucky enough, I have great news: it was recorded, and KENNY just posted the live set to SoundCloud, below for your enjoyment.

SOME other good news is that I captured a few live videos of the debut — and below is an awesome video of the moment KENNY played his Throat Goat remix and energized the crowd even more.

SLEAZE — NEW PRIVATE SET

ONE of the realms where Marco da Silva truly shines and not everyone has heard is this sexy, dark, house-y Berlin vibe that he keeps contained… but it creeps out every now and again for us to savor.

Because I wanted to cater to this hidden, a sound that is adjacent to the one he spent the entire pandemic honing and re-branding, I asked him to come up with a set I could send out to potential contractors that embodies this, and that little push inspired the sensual set below. Enjoy!

KENNY KRUZE ADDED TO ROSTER

KENNY and I had been connected for several years—a couple years even before I got truly involved in the deejay music scene—but in all those years, I never actually knew he was a deejay.

At first, I wasn’t wanting to take on any more additions to my roster—and initially I only offered to help KENNY with rebranding and making his SoundCloud stronger—but after I heard what he was capable of as both a deejay and producer, I couldn’t turn him away.
